Transferring Domain

  I am trying to transfer my domain to WordPress from GoDaddy but I am deleting my go daddy account. Would I still have to pay the additional $18/month if the domain would only be used on here?

  Hi –

  If your domain is transferred to WordPress.com then we will become your hosting provider and your registrar, both. You would not need to pay anyone else.

  My suggestion to get things all set up here before cancelling.
