Transferring domain after cancellation of plan.

    I registered a domain with a plan, but I wish to keep the domain and transfer it to a different website service. However, I’ve already cancelled the plan. What can I do to transfer it?

    Hi thewolfillustrations,

    Cancelling a domain means giving up ownership which is why you don’t see the option to transfer thewolfillustrations.com after doing so — only active domains can be transferred.

    Because the domain was cancelled so soon after registration, it should be released in around 5 days on a first come, first served basis.

    The other option is I can send a payment request and restore the domain (if we act quickly). Newly registered domains are transfer locked for the first 60 days but can be pointed to another host in the meantime:
