transferring domain name

  just been advised that my current web site platform is going to shut down in 30 days but ‘I can transfer my domain name’….. HOW???!!! I have no idea what this means

  Hi there,

  What is your current site’s address?

  Depending on the platform your site is on, you might be able to get an export file that can be imported to WordPress. Please ask your current provider about that. Such a file you can then import at My Site ->Tools ->Import on an existing WordPress.com site.
