Transferring Domain Name to WordPress

  I would like to transfer my current domain name (harthillmorris.org.uk) purchased from Yorhost.net to WordPress and purchase it from yourselves instead. I have gone through the process of pointing our WordPress blog to the Yorhost provided domain name but unfortunately the company are being far from helpful and I am unable to contact them to help in any way. I would like to bring all our services “in house”, purchasing all services from yourselves.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com is unable to accept incoming domain transfers, so there isn’t a way to transfer your existing domain’s registration here.

  However, if your current domain registrar isn’t able to point the domain to WordPress.com so you can map the domain properly, you can transfer it to a different registrar. We have a list of popular domain registrars for domain mapping here:
