Transferring domain names

    I want to transfer my domain name but am awaiting access to do so. Is there any way I can set up a site with another domain and then transfer it afterwards? And is this free to do?

    You already have another domain, at http://leolanguagesnew.wordpress.com/

    All sites created on WordPress.com get a free address like that, regardless of whether you add your own domain or not. So you can work on your site at that address until you’re able to transfer your existing domain.

    There is no charge for creating a free address like that, and you only have to upgrade if you want to use one of the features specific to our paid plans.
