transferring domain/separating two existing accounts completely

  Hey guys, I had a WP account with a site about 2 years ago. When we took on another project, I started a new site with a new domain within the same WP account from 2 years ago (instead of starting a brand new account (I know…I should’ve just created a new one, but hindsight is 20-20). Now that this new shorter project is done, I need to totally separate the two accounts and turn this new one over to the new owner. I did transfer the new site/domain to a new Gmail address, and that all looks perfect….I made the new site admin’s Gmail address an admin on my old site, did the transfer, waited around 24 hours and it’s all showing up like it should when I log in as the new site admin for the new site.

  But… I still see the new site listed under My Sites in my original WP account.

  How can I completely totally separate the two?? I looked at removing the old site user from the new site, but it doesn’t give me an option to do it.

  Really hoping this is something simple! Thanks in advance for any help y’all can give.
