transferring domain to wordpress

  I need to transfer my domain from another host to be directly hosted by wordpress.
  My previous host is asking for my new registrar tag – can anyone advice me on what this is?

  Hi there,

  What is the domain you want to transfer?

  The only “registrar tag” I know of is what’s called an IPS tag, and those are used for the transfer of .uk domains.

  .uk domains cannot be transferred to WordPress.com. If you have a .uk domain you want to use with your WordPress.com site you can map it to us instead, while leaving it registered at your current registrar.
