Transferring domains

  I currently lease my domain name through third-party registrar, which I no longer really have need for (it’s just adding a step to the process). I would like to transfer the domain to WordPress, but I’m not finding an option for that. Do I just have to let it expire, and re-buy it from in WordPress?

  Unfortunately, we cannot accept incoming domain transfers.

  I do not recommend letting the domain expire, as expired domains become the property of their registrars and are only returned to the public market at their discretion.
