Transferring Email

    I purchased a domain name and email with 123-reg and since changing the DNS settings so WordPress.com can host the domain name, my email has stopped working. I have tried to follow the ‘Custom dns’ instructions but am unsure how much of the example given to duplicate. I found the MX records from another forum thread but am unsure how to fill out the page in the Custom DNS records page. Do I follow the example text exactly?

    If you enter them exactly like the example on the Edit DNS page, that should work. Note that DNS records take a little time to propagate, so you may have to wait a few hours before checking email again to see if it’s working.

    I checked your Edit DNS page for thecopywritingexpert.co.uk and I see you added two MX records already. They look good to me. Your email may already be working again by now even.
