Transferring from .com to .org

  Hey there.
  So I’m trying to transfer my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org.
  I already got my hostgator hosting, but when I use the quick wordpress install option on the cpanel of hostgator, it tells me to go here : http://mattereal.com/index/ so I can access the wordpress.org dashboard.

  But when i go to this link I actually see my wordpress.com blog and it says the page doesn’t exists.
  So do I need to delete my wordpress.com blog in order to transfer it to wordpress.org ?

  DON’T DELETE YOUR WORDPRESS.COM BLOG!!!!!

  Hostgator should be able to help you access your new site on their hosting while you set up the site – once the site is set up then change the name servers to make your Hostgator site live –

  The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
