Transferring from GoDaddy

    I have a registered site on GoDaddy I would like to register with wordpress

    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

    It looks like you’re just starting out with your project – can you tell me more about the site you’re looking to build, and what functionality you required (for example, a contact form, an online store…etc) – we’ll be able to provide information on how best to build the site you have in mind.

    Also, are there any sites out there that you like the look of and would like to emulate? This will help with making theme selections.

    The domain is located at GoDaddy, and I’ve noticed there’s Google Workspace DNS setting in use there – to check, have you purchased email hosting? If yes, it’s possible to connect the domain from GoDaddy to WordPress.com, as per these instructions: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/ – once connected, the DNS settings that are required to run the email hosting, would need to be re-added at WordPress.com as per these steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/

    Lastly, to note, in order to use a custom domain, the site would need to be on a paid plan, at the minimum the personal plan, the features of which can be found here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
