Transferring from localhost to webhost

    Hello guys,

Im relatively new to making CMS applications. I dont know the right practices on making a CMS website (in this case wordpress)..

I understand the process of installing, editing the codes, adding plugins, etc..

my question is, what practices is the most recommended in making websites with wordpress? I have tried installing wordpress in to my wamp server and installed several plugins. everything worked well with my wamp.. I uploaded it to the server, changed the database configuration (wp-config.php).. the landing page works well but the links (pages, posts, etc) are not working.. it redirects to “localhost” which is in my computer. even if I type in the URL “domain.com/wp-admin” it brings me back to “localhost”..

any idea how to fix this? and is what im doing right? installing it in my wamp and importing it to the server?

    TIA

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry, you need to head over to the WordPress.org forums as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.

If you are not familiar with the differences, see this support document.
