Transferring from WordPress to Wix

  I am looking to move a domain I have purchased and use on WordPress to Wix where I can have more control over how my site looks and feels.

  Before I do this though I wish to know what will happen to the content I already have on there. Will the pages still be active? If someone clicks on a link will it be dead or will it still be active?

  I am worried as I have over 500 posts on WordPress and if I need to manually change everything over I will, but ultimately I do not want to lose all the work I have done over the past few years if I transfer it over.

  Hi Marc, I’m sorry to see you go! Is there anything I can to do help you get the look and feel of your site more to your liking?

  If you move to Wix, whether or not your old links will work depends on whether Wix can mimic the same URL structure you had on WordPress.com, and whether they have an import tool that can pull in your posts, preserving that structure.
