Transferring my current site from Wix to WordPress

  Hello,
  I am wondering how difficult it may be for me to transfer my website from Wix to WordPress?
  Is there anything I need to do to make sure it transfers and keeps the same format?
  Or do I need to start from scratch and then transfer the domain?
  Any help would be great!
