Transferring my domain

  Hi There
  I had a domain with wordpress http://www.mediabythehour.com – I cancelled it before it renewed as I wanted to host it via one.com. When I’ve gone to register it there, it’s saying it’s taken. But when I log in on wordperss – it’s reverted back to a .wordpress doamin. So I can’t find it to request the Auth-ID/EPP code. How can I get the code for this domain now? Thanks in advance for help.

  You cannot transfer a canceled domain. Once canceled, the domain is out of your control. In addition, canceled domains are held by the registrar for some amount of time as an anti fraud measure. So it can be some time before you are able to get it back.

  I can try and reverse the cancellation. I will let you know if I am successful, it typically takes 12-48 hours.

  If successful, you will need to re-purchase the yearly domain registration. Then you will be able to use the domain here on WordPress.com or point your domain to a new webhost using these instructions:

  If you could try and retrieve it, that would be great. I cancelled it because I didn’t want it to automatically renew on my credit card, total error.
