Transferring My domain from domain.com to wordpress

I currently have a domain and website builder from domain.com and Website Builder but I’m not very satisfied as It’s too basic to build a website. I would like to know if it’s possible to start building the website on wordpress before taking any decision to transfer it?

Absolutely. Just start building your website here and you can set up the domain later. You can even set your WordPress.com site to be “private” until you have finished building it if you wish:
