transferring my domain name

  My domain is currently with Go Daddy.. I understand you can move it.. but can I do this with a free account with you or do I have to pay monthly.. Thanks for your help !! Erica

  Hi there,

  You can transfer your domain here without purchasing a plan. You’ll only have to pay for the domain’s renewal. However, without a plan, your domain will only redirect to your free .wordpress.com address.

  Hosting a .com TLD at WordPress.com is $18 USD annually.

  Again, the domain will not be eligible to be your primary domain without a plan, it’ll redirect to your .wordpress.com subdomain whenever a visitor types in your .com domain.
