Transferring my wordpress site from my friends wordpress account to my account

    Hey, Nathan Ray Ortega here

    I own a domain name called Influencer Hustle site below
    https://www.influencerhustle.com/

    I didnt know how to create a blog so i asked my friend if he can create a blog for me under his word press account

    i want to now use my own wordpress account how do i transfer my site to my account, and if this is not possible depending on my friends emotions how will i be able to claim my site domain since i already own the domain name through google domains

    Just to make sure I am understanding, influencerhustle.com is the site you want to transfer to your WordPress.com user account? Or is there a different WordPress.com site that you would like to transfer?

    If it is influencerhustle.com, the issue is that influencerhustle.com is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with another webhost.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
