transferring ownership of a blog to a different account

I have 2 blogs, and didn’t realize when I created them that I could have 2 under the same account. I’ve looked through the ‘help’ information and it looks like what I need to do to transfer the administration of my arttravelbooks.wordpress.com blog to the same account as my hoardercomesclean.wordpress.com blog is here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

I’m just concerned, in reading, wanting to be sure that if I transfer arttravelbooks to hoardercomesclean, (by making hoardercomesclean an admin of arttravelbooks then doing the transfer) — that this keeps the 2 blogs separate, does not combine the content, keeps their associated email accounts separate, and just allows me to access either blog when I log into hoardercomesclean. (that I will see them both under “my blogs”)

Do I have it right? Thanks so much for your help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, I can reassure you that separate blogs under separate username accounts with different email addresses is the result you want. To disassociate username accounts and blogs see here please > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/08/14/separate-username-accounts-separate-blogs/

In order to completely separate the blogs that you do not want to be associated with each other you register another username account using a different email address when you are logged out of WordPress.com. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ Then you add the new username account as an official user of the blog, and designate them (ie. you) as an Admin. Next you transfer one of the blogs to the new username account using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Thank you for the quick reply. Just to make sure I understand — since I originally opened the two blog accounts separately and with different email addresses, do I now just (1) make one the admin of the other and then (2) do the “”transfer blog step, and after that they will be separate blogs under “my blogs” and will keep their original separate email addresses?
    Thx again.
