Transferring the hosting server

    if i change the hosting from google sites to WordPress premium will it be change immediately ? will it be control through WordPress?

    Hi there,

    To clarify, you have an existing site using the the “Google Sites” platform, and you want to migrate to a site here on WordPress.com instead?

    Sadly, Google does not offer a migration path, so there is no way to automate importing your site contents on our end: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/

    However, if you wish you can use your Google domain here as the address for your site (instead of the default “wordpress.com” address) and that is no problem. The change is not immediate, though, so usually we recommend getting your replacement site all set up here so it’s “ready to launch” and then when you are ready, you can move your domain to us at that point so that your new site replaces your old site seamlessly.
