Transferring themes from one wp website to another

    Hello, I purchased a premium theme (themeforest) for my local WordPress website (base.designs.com). I then began to create a domain and hosting with Hostgator (basewebsites.com). I would like to have my premium theme transferred over to my basewebsites.com from my base.designs.com local site. How can I go about this?

    Hello there,

    This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    This means we can’t support this site.

    By the sounds of it, it’s not required to transfer a theme, but instead you can download the theme from themeforest and then install it into the new installation.
