Transferring Website

  Hi, I’m trying to build a website for a client project for a class. If I were to create the website here with plug-ins, could I just transfer the website itself, not the domain, to the client and have them adopt the website using their own custom domain?

  Hi,

  That’s totally possible here on WordPress.com. You can build the site on your account using its internal address (.wpcomstaging.com), and when it’s ready, you can transfer it to your client’s account. Then, they’ll be able to use their own custom domain.
