Transferring website to wordpress

  Hello, I already have a website with GoDaddy and would like to transfer my website to WordPress as it’s got better layout and customisation options. I don’t mind building the website again as I will have to update it anyway but I would like to keep my domain name. Please, help to advise with how to get it done.

  Was your GoDaddy site built with WordPress? Or was it built with GoDaddy’s website builder?
