Transfert ou association de site

    Good morning,
    I just confirmed my wordpress account.
    But I need help knowing:
    ***I already have a site that includes a blog part and an e.boutique part on JIMDO business. (https://www.ateliercreatifdeninny.fr)

    My questions :
    ** What advice to associate this site and keep it on its original site?
    ** Or transfer it to wordpress?

    I would like to cancel my subscription to JIMDO business (for my e.boutique) and return to a free subscription to jimdo (to keep only the blog part).

    So if I transfer my existing site to wordpress, would I keep all of its content including and especially my e.boutique (very small self business).
    Could I keep my email linked to my existing site on JIMDO and also the name of my small business with its domain.

    If so, what package and price will you advise me?

    If I just link my existing site with wordpress. Would I keep my 2 sites (wordpress and JIMDO)? And will my e.boutique be manageable by wordpress on your site? (I suppose that in the case of an association, I will keep my email linked to the JIMDO account and my site and of course my domain name and the name of the site).

    I received a wordpress support email stating that you can create a site for me in a few minutes. But before answering and accepting, I need to get some answers
    questions and advice.

    Hi Annie –

    You’ll want to ask JIMDO directly on their export / site transfer processes. If they don’t provide an export option then you could copy + paste the content manually. Not ideal.

    I’d suggest just setting up a free site on WordPress.com now to test things out and get used to the interface. This will give you a better idea on how you want the new site + blog to look and function.

    You also don’t need to make any decisions about the other sites right away with this option.

    Generally speaking, this is how you would import content from those site to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/import/
