Transitioning from Blog to Website

Do you have recommendations for transitioning from a blog to a website that includes our original/current blog. We have a long history with our blog and want to include it within a new website on wordpress but don’t want to risk losing all the traffic and engagement that we’ve built over the years.
Are there recommended processes and procedures and resources available for this type of transition/migration?
