Translate widget built in on WordPress.com

Would be great if WordPress. com would add the translate widget as part of their built in plugins. Thanks so much!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We do not have FTP access and we bloggers cannot install any plugins, we cannot use Microsoft or Google translation widgets or any others, as they are JavaScript and it’s stripped out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascriptHowever, I have translation on my WordPress.com blogs. There are two workarounds and you will find them here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/02/14/translation-widget-for-wordpress-com-blogs/
Note: You can copy and paste the code on my Translations page http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/translation/ and then replace every occurrence of my blog’s URL in the code with your own blog’s URL. -
Thank you so much for writing. Yes, my understanding is we cannot install any plugins on WordPress.com but I read in support, that we can suggest certain widgets and perhaps WordPress would consider adding them in the future.
In the meantime, thank you so much for the workarounds. -
You’re welcome. :) Yes we can suggest this and a simple tag search of this Ideas Forum reveals that not many suggestions are acted on – not many and not frequently. This particular request has been made many times now over the course of about 4 years or longer.

I didn’t realize the requests weren’t taken seriously. :(
I just need clarification please. If I copy and paste http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/translation/into my widget side bar and simply replace onecoolsitebloggingtips.com with my blog, that should work? Or is it more than that?
Thank you again!
