trial version for premium version of word press

Is there any way I can try a trial version of word press premium before I Purchase. Also are there tutorials to help learn how to use wordpress and the css options within.

All WordPress.com upgrades need to be paid for annually in advance. There is an option to request a refund if less than 30 days have elapsed (but only 48 hours in the case of domains).
