Trouble accessing mail account at GoDaddy

  The operator at GoDaddy’s hotline told me that since there’s an MX error with the mail transit on WordPress, that the blog I help out isn’t allowed to access it’s inbox at GoDaddy or send mail from it. The operator told me that since they don’t host our WordPress blog they can’t help out until we get that problem fixed. Does anyone have any input into how I should handle that?
