Trouble adding new blog (and domain) with wordpress.com
-
Hi there — I’ve already set up one domain and a blog associated with it (http://lisa-phillips.com/) on wordpress.com — without any external hosting. My problem is this: I have set up a second domain (http://thebigbrickhouse.com/), and want the appropriately named new blog to be associated with it, but the new address automatically defaults to the original domain and blog. I’m sure this has something to do with it being the “primary domain”. Is there some way to separate the domains so each has its own blog? If not, what could I do — outside of finding separate hosting? Thanks in advance, Lisa.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you add the domain before creating a new wordpress.com site, it will be attached to your original site.
If you create the new _______.wordpress.com site, I can move the new domain name (http://thebigbrickhouse.com/) over to it.
Let me know if you have any trouble.

Thanks so much, rootjosh — I’ll probably have the blog up and running by tomorrow, and I’ll let you know sometime then =D

The blog is now set up at http://qmdp.wordpress.com/, and if you could transfer it to the thebigbrickhouse.com domain that would be great.
Also: I’m sure this is a bit of a “noob” issue, but I can’t seem to access the homepage on the new blog (it’s not in the list of pages on my dashboard). I created a “blog” page (which is in the header text), that I’d like to have situated as the homepage — if you could shed some light on this issue, any help would be appreciated. Thanks for everything!
