Trouble changing colour navigation and my settings are different to all videos I’ve watched

  Hi, please can you also give me an email address to contact as it is no help to me if I get an email from a ‘no reply’ WordPress email address.

  My problem:
  I have been watching videos and have noticed this difference on many occasions with different videos. This being that while I’m trying to change the colour background of the navigation bar I don’t even have ‘general’ in my header category or anything else.

  Changing a site’s color scheme like this on WordPress.com requires adding custom CSS code to your theme, and that is only possible with our Premium plan or higher.

  Most tutorial videos you’ll find online are for the open source WordPress.org software, and do not apply to WordPress.com. The only official tutorial videos for WordPress.com are the ones at http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-tutorials/
