Trouble Importing Posterous Blog

  I signed up for WordPress.com yesterday and began the process to import my blog contents from Posterous with the eventual goal to export/import the contents to WordPress.org. As of right now I cannot tell if any importing has taken place. When I check the number of posts, etc. imported the stats still display 0 and say the import process is still underway.

  Since it has been more than 24 hours since I began the import process, and the directions state to contact support if a message hasn’t been received after 24 hours, I’m reaching out to the support team. Let me know what additional information you may need in order to research this.

  I have reset your importer. Please feel free to try again and let us know how it goes.

  Also, you might want to just bypass the middle-man and use the Posterous importer plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/posterous-importer/
