Trouble logging in to manage my domain

I’m having trouble finding out how to change the DNS settings when logged in to my website.

I’m trying to switch from Zoho email to G suite and am following the instructions found here. https://support.google.com/a/answer/6150791?hl=en&ref_topic=4445221
It tells me to log in to WordPress at wordpress.com in order to manage my domain. When I try to login, however, WordPress does not recognize my credentials. Normally I log in at http://mywebsite.org/wp-admin/profile.php, but when I use those same credentials WordPress tells me that I have an invalid email address. What’s up?

There are no domain purchases on the account you are logged in to. Did you buy it using another account? If you let me know which domain you need to manage, I’ll see what I can find.

Thansk for the quick response. I am trying to manage http://www.climatecaretakers.org. A co-worker (who lives in another state and is not good at communication) purchased and registered the domain for me. I use WordPress to edit the site, but have never had to deal with domain management before now.

The domain climatecaretakers.org is not registered through WordPress.com, which is you are unable to manage it from an account here. It appears to be registered through PublicDomainRegistry.

Which site have you been editing?
Normally I log in at http://mywebsite.org/wp-admin/profile.php, but when I use those same credentials WordPress tells me that I have an invalid email address.
What is the exact URL of the site you normally log into?

Ah, I see. Thank you. A friend registered the site for me, and I assume he did it with WordPress, but apparently not. I’ll look into publicdomainregistry. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the link. Climate Caretakers is a self hosted WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site. The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org are explained here:
The instructions you found are for WordPress.com but you won’t be able to use those as climatecaretakers.org isn’t a WordPress.com site.
If you wish to set up G Suite for that domain, you will need to speak to your domain registrar about updating the settings at their end. They should be able to help.
