Trouble posting a comment

Someone recently tried unsuccessfullyl to post a post to my blog. Here is the email that I received: “I tried posting a comment to your blog (adopting new technologies). when i submitted my comment a screen said i needed to fill in my e-mail address. when i clicked back one page, the comment page was empty. i didn’t bother re-writing and re-sending as i didn’t know if i would be asked to fill out another field and loose my text again.”
Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem?

In your dashboard at options>discussion, uncheck the option requiring commenters to provide a name/email address.
