Trouble transfering hosting of site from wordpress to an outside sevice

  I’m currently hosting my blog, adaptivesamples.com, through wordpress. I decided I’d like to have a bit more flexibility and host it myself on unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk and began the domain transfer process following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  I received several emails from both sides, and in the end it sounded like the transfer was a success. However, adaptivesamples.com is still run through wordpress and not through the content I’ve uploaded onto the UnlimitedWebHosting domain through the Parallels Plesk panel (which shows the domain as adaptivesamples.com: http://gregzaal.com/ss/2014-05-29_108.jpg )

  But I no longer have any useful buttons related to domains in my WP dashboard: http://gregzaal.com/ss/2014-05-29_109.jpg

  Hi there!

  Sorry for the confusion! In addition to transferring the domain, you’ll need to update the DNS settings to your new host. Since the domain is already transferred, those settings can only be changed through your new host.

  It looks like the name servers for you new host are:

  ns0.unlimited.uk.net
  ns1.unlimited.uk.net

  http://www.unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk/knowledgebase/44/Nameservers.html

  You’ll need to log into your new account over with Unlimited Web Hosting to change your name servers away from WordPress.com. If you’re not sure how to do this, you’ll need to contact the support team at your new registrar for help!
