Trouble uploading a WordPress theme

Hi, I’m having trouble activating WordPress theme I purchased separately (Weston Theme) to my WordPress portal. The theme is not identifying in WordPress. It says themetrust-weston Stylesheet is missing. I contacted the Weston vendor as it seems the downloaded theme file is missing the proper zip file and/or has issue. Any suggestions? Thanks

I do not see any sites under your @jmercednyc WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Hi – Yes, I’m using Bluehost. I was under the understanding that I could upload any theme of my choosing, outside of those provided by Bluehost.

I wrote to the theme developer but haven’t heard back yet. I appreciate any help you can provide, Thanks! -
Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
