Trouble verifying email in order to publish first post

  WordPress tells me to verify email address before I can publish my first post but I haven’t received such an email. I keep clicking on ‘Resend confirmation email’ and it says ‘Email sent’ but no email ever comes through, and it’s definitely the correct address… Any ideas? Thanks :)

  Please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  I have checked my gmail spam folder/social tab already (I don’t seem to have a separate ‘junk’ filter) and no sign of any confirmation emails from WordPress. Look forward to hearing back from the staff follow-up.
