Trouble with domain

  I am having some trouble with the domain name. ‘bodybyez.com’ is not available to use. I have purchased this domain through an outside source and have cancelled it, the company has assured me that the domain name is inactive. I was wondering how can I purchase it through wordpress and use it on my site? I have also cleared my cache and history thinking that would solve it but hasn’t.
