Trying really hard to cancel a WordPress.com site

  Hi folks,
  I’m trying to delete the site maps101blog.com (aka maps101.wordpress.com). When I go to delete site, I’m told that I have active subscriptions, and that I need to deactivate the subscriptions before I can delete the site. Okay, so then I go to subscriptions and it tells me to go to PURCHASES to cancel a subscription. Okay, so I then click on the PURCHASES tab and the ONLY option on that screen is UPGRADE. So then I click on the only button there (UPGRADE) and there is absolutely no option to cancel, downgrade, deactivate or delete anything.

  I’m in a round-trip from hell and absolutely unable to get to what I need.

  Hi there,

  You cannot currently delete the site because it is not connected to the account that you are contacting us from. you’ll need to log into the account that owns the site and the upgrades in order to delete both.
