Trying to add a .txt file to recover Google Analytics access – don’t have the correct site access

  I need help to add a .txt file to an old WordPress site to recover access to a GA account.

  Issue is that it’s a customised theme and I don’t have access to edit it… I also can’t get hold of the agency that created the theme. Very frustrating!

  I’m thinking I just need to create a new site?

  Based on what you’ve mentioned, I suspect you are talking about a site using the WordPress software but hosted with another webhost (such as GoDaddy or Bluehost). But just to make sure, could you share the URL of the site in question?

  I literally can’t do anything with it which is super frustrating and no-one seems to be able to help!

  The site at http://papajohns.com.kw/ does not use the managed hosting environment from WordPress.com which we support here. You’ll want to try https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ for help with running the open source WordPress.org software. That’s different from using WordPress.com.
