Trying to Cancel Auto Renew

I am having a problem cancelling the auto renew for my domain name. I have two domains that I have purchased, one I want to keep and one I want to stop paying for (there is another person who is going to take over payment of that domain). The two of them seem to be linked, with one as my “primary domain.” It’s the other, non-primary, one that I am having trouble with. It won’t let me cancel the auto renew. Can I just transfer the domain to the other person? Do I have to delete it completely so that they can then purchase it? Or can I just cancel the auto renew so that they can then purchase it? If cancelling auto renew is the easiest thing, why am I currently unable to do it? Do I have to be listed as an administrator on that other blog?

I can transfer the upgrade for your second domain to the other user for you! Do you want to transfer ownership of the domain entirely? Or just the upgrade (what you pay for)?

The other administrator on that domain/blog made me an administrator and I was able to cancel the auto renew. But, I still want to transfer ownership of the domain, http://www.theecotoneexchange.com. The other user who started that blog with me and is the other administrator of that blog is going to stay with it, pay for it and take over ownership of it. I don’t want to have any connection to theecotoneexchange.com. I only want to have ownership of my primary domain/blog, which is http://www.beingwhereyouare.com. That one doesn’t need to change.

Just confirm that you want to transfer the WordPress.com site theecotoneexchange.wordpress.com, the domain theecotoneexchange.com, and the upgrades associated with it to the user nevaknott.
Once that’s finished, nevaknott can go into the dashboard and remove you as a user on the site.

My mistake, the blog is already owned by nevaknott.
I’ve transferred the domain theecotoneexchange.com to the user nevaknott. The last step in the process is to have the new owner update the contact information, if necessary. You can find information on that here:

This is required for ICANN compliance, so please make sure they do this soon!
