Trying to Change User name

I am new to this. Yesterday I set-up with user name baconanonymous. Today I had an epiphany and wanted to use andasideofbacon. I registered both through Go Daddy. When I try to change user name from baconanonymous to andasideofbacon I get the message “Sorry that site already exists.” I’m completely confused. I want to get rid of baconanonymous and use andasideofbacon. I purchased Value upgrade and premium theme and I’m afraid I will lose those as well..help

It seems that the username ‘andasideofbacon’ is already taken by someone else.
You can change the name displayed on your posts and comments by changing the “display name” on your Personal Settings admin panel:
