trying to create a new page but creating a new post instead

  I am trying to add pages to my site and every time i go to add, it adds a post, i have pushed “add” next to page on the left hand column, have gone to pages and under drafts clicked make new page. still not working. any suggestions?

  Yes, that’s very odd.

  and under drafts clicked make new page

  Where do you see “drafts” or “make new page?”
