Trying to delete a site

    Why can’t I delete a site? When I click ‘delete site’ it tells me to type the address into the box to confirm BUT the box doesn’t seem to allow any keyboard input so I’m not able to type ANYTHING into the box which means I can’t click the Delete button to confirm..

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Are you going here to delete the site?

    If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so only you and other members of the site can view it when logged in:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

    Thank you for replying. No my problem is actually more complicated but because I’ve always been a loud supporter of WordPress I didn’t want to say what I really think!
    My normal site is the ‘hillview cottage’ one but I wanted to make a site for my sister Dinah so logged out of wordpress to create a ‘Dinah’ site BUT… when it was finished I realised wordpress had kept me logged in [under the hillview name] and made my ‘dinah’ site just an extra one under the Hillview name! Still with me? I’ve deleted all the content of the dinah site [cursing wordpress with every breath!] AND made it private, but I don’t want it connected to my Hillview site; I want it deleted so I can start making a separate site for her again. I already love your name DarnellDibbles, but if you can help me I’ll also start loving WordPress again!

    Success! I don’t know why or how but WordPress has finally allowed me to type my confirmation into the delete box! So I’ve been able to delete the site! Gotta add, that it happened about 3 minutes after I announced to my household two of our brand new kittens are to be named ‘Darnell’ and ‘Dibbles’! You’re obviously a good-luck angel DarnellDibbles and will be remembered every time I look at these two little fluffy balls of fur! Thank you again for replying. And yes WordPress, I still love ya!

    Can’t say that I have had the distinct pleasure of having kittens named after me – but, I’ll take it! Glad that everything is sorted out and thank you for the kind gesture! =D
