trying to edit a text widget

When I click on ‘edit’ in a text widget, the window that pops up does not allow me to write inside of it; help!

Hi there, I’m not seeing any WordPress.com sites associated with your username. What is the url of the site you are wanting help on?
My main suggestion would be to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies then log back in and try again.
