Trying to get my access to the GoDaddy WordPress back.

I need help with being able to use my godaddy wordpress but it keeps bringing me to the wordpress.com site. I was not having any problems until I made the mistake of mapping the wordpress.com site to the trinahall.com one. I do not wish to use the thetrinahall.wordpress.com site any longer as I wish to resume using the GoDaddy self hosted version. Please help. I have deleted every file from this site and reset my hosting on the godaddy site but I still can not access the godaddy wordpress as it brings me to this one. I am trying to set my wife’s blog up and have become very confused and frustrated. Thanks for taking the time to help.

  • I am seeing trinahall.com point to your self-hosted site. If you are still being directed to your WordPress.com site, you might try clearing your browser’s cache or using a different browser. I have a feeling that will solve the issue.

When I go to use wordpress through the cpanel, it starts launching the application then directs me to this link every time which is what is left of my old .wordpress.com site.

It takes me to this every time no matter the browser I use and how many times I clean out my cache and cookies.

Would it be best for me to completely delete the .wordpress.com account?

You could. But in reality, but I doubt that will solve the issue. You might want to check with your hosting provider’s support team and ask them what is up since you are hosting with them and accessing through your cpanel.
