Trying to get started, but site is down

    I’m using Hostgator for my first website, and I bought the domain:
    vmcatering.com

    I installed WordPress 3.5.2 using Hostgator’s quick install manager. Everything went successfully and I got the confirmation emails I needed. I’ve been using the links to the WP-admin and the site, but I keep getting redirected to my ISP’s search page. I checked downforeveryoneorjustme.com and it is down.

    This is my first website, please help.

    Hi there,
    That site is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and we don’t provide support for WordPress.ORG software at WordPress.COM.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
