Trying to retrieve publicly posted content

    Hi – I have talked to good people at wordpress.com, wordpress.com and GoDaddy but am at a deadend.

    I had a free wordpress.com blog foundcommunity.com. I hadn’t logged in for a few years.

    GoDaddy says someone owns it and is selling at their site. It appears some pirate bought the domain. More power to them. Godspeed. Not happening, matey.

    GoDaddy tells me wordpress.com has the content. WordPress.com people: that is all I want. The publicly posted content from 2012 and 2013.

    I tried to communicate via the secure request from sarcasticsteve provided so I could explain further details but was unable.

    Again, I am only interested in the publicly posted content.

    Hi there,

    You are referring to the site https://foundcommunity.wordpress.com/ yes? I see that at one time this site used the domain foundcommunity.com but that expired in 2013 and was put up for sale again. however the site itself is still online at the “WordPress.com” address.

    As I mentioned here you can regain access to that account by filling out the form here to the best of your ability: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
