Trying to Transfer My Blog to New User

My blog transfer request hasn’t been processed yet. I tried to transfer my blog to a new user (my new WordPress account) on 1/18/14. I received a message stating that because I have a domain upgrade, a member from Support would process the transfer and get in touch with me shortly. It’s been more than 48 hours, and the blog has not transferred yet. I’d like to get an idea of how long it’ll take to complete the transfer, and if there any additional steps I need to take in the meantime. I need this transfer done as quickly as possible, as the email address associated with this account will be deactivated soon. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I see that another Happiness Engineer, Adam, contacted you via email about this transfer request yesterday. If you didn’t receive that email, I can help you with the transfer here. :)
Before I do the transfer, I just need to confirm a few things:
1. You’d like me to transfer ownership of this blog and its upgrades:
http://cruisinginsights.wordpress.com/To the user shawandaj. Is that correct?
This transfer would include a domain registration for cruisinginsights.com.
You will also need to make sure that the contact information for the domain is up to date, to make sure the domain is in compliance with ICANN regulations. Since you are transferring the domain to a new WordPress.com account that you own, you will still own and be responsible for the domain.
Also, if you’d like, I can also transfer your existing posts, pages, and media to the new user. (That way, that username will be listed as the author of those posts/pages and media. Just let me know if you’d like me to do that. :)

Yes, I would like for you to go ahead and process the transfer. All the information you listed is correct. It would be excellent if you could transfer the existing posts posts, pages and media. That would be a huge help.

Thanks for confirming! :) I just transferred the blog and the domain to your new WordPress.com account, so now you can manage them from that account.
Please be sure to log in to your domain manager and update your contact information for the domain, to make sure the correct email address is listed there. We have a guide for that here: Domain Management – Update Contact Information
