Turn Off 2 Factor option not sending SMS code

  I am trying to switch 2FA apps and I need to turn 2FA off and on again, but I can’t disable 2FA on this account because WordPress doesn’t send me an SMS code. My number in my account is correct because I successfully received the confirmation code for that number.

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  That’s the moment you must use one of the Backup Codes you received when you set up 2FA and you were supposed to print out and/or save on a safe place.
