TwentyTen Responsive ?

I was asked by a friend blogger to make his blog Mobile-friendly. I found that he uses a blog based on WordPress theme TwentyTen. Unfortunately, it seems to me that it is not responsive.
Is someone able to do Responsive TwentyTen? Do we have to change for example Twentyfourteen?

See here to determine if the it is a responsive layout theme or not. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/

If it is listed there as a responsive layout them then know that responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme
